About Second Chance Volunteers

Her Future, Our Mission

Welcome to Second Chance Volunteers Inc, where we are dedicated to providing volunteer opportunities for young women between the ages 18 years old to 40 years old who need to fulfill court-mandated volunteer hours as an alternative to jail time. Our mission as a non-profit is to create a community that fosters understanding, compassion, and empowerment for individuals on their journey to social reintegration.

At Second Chance Volunteers, we believe in the power of second chances and are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those struggling with community reintegration. Our focus is to reduce recidivism by offering meaningful community service experiences that foster personal growth, skill development, and social reintegration.

Vision

To be a leading organization in transforming lives through structured volunteerism, creating safer communities by giving individuals a second chance to contribute positively to society. Our hope is to bring awareness that alternative sentencing can help increase recognition in reducing the prison population, and instead promote rehabilitation.
