About Second Chance Volunteers

Mission

Welcome to Second Chance Volunteers Inc, where we are dedicated to providing volunteer opportunities for women who need to fulfill court-mandated volunteer hours as an alternative to jail time. Our mission as a non-profit is to create a community that fosters understanding, compassion, and empowerment for individuals on their journey to social reintegration.

At Second Chance Volunteers, we believe in the power of second chances and are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those struggling with community reintegration. Our focus is to reduce recidivism by offering meaningful community service experiences that foster personal growth, skill development, and social reintegration. Volunteers will have a chance to participate purposeful, restorative, and inclusive volunteer projects.

Projects are powered by volunteers and supported community donations of goods and supplies needed for each project. Our model is hands-on and minimal cost, the only financial support we seek is to maintain our business location, which allows us to coordinate, store, and distribute resources to the community.

Participation is available for:

- Individuals required to complete court-ordered community service hours.

- Participants in diversion programs needing structured service opportunities.

- Those looking for a positive volunteer experience while fulfilling obligations.

- People seeking to build job-ready skills while giving back to the community.
