Family Connection Book Project – Book Sorting Day

IMG_1187.jpeg

Today was a meaningful day for Second Chance Volunteers.

With the help of our volunteer Daisy, who brought books she collected, and our new corporate partners from DoubleTree by Hilton, we spent the day sorting children’s books for the Family Connection Book Project.

Together we counted 612 books that will help children stay connected with their mothers through the power of reading.

Our goal is to reach 1,000 books, and we are now only 388 books away.

Every book represents love, connection, and a reminder to a child that their mother is still thinking of them.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support this mission.
