We’re getting ready to support our local veterans! On Sunday, August 23, Second Chance Volunteers, Inc. will be collecting NEW hats, gloves, and socks to help ensure veterans in our community are prepared for the colder months ahead. Items collected during our Warm Hearts for Heroes Veterans

About the event
Join Second Chance Volunteers as we come together to support the veterans in our community through our Warm Hearts for Heroes Donation Drive. We’re collecting new hats, gloves, and socks to help provide warmth and comfort to those who have served our country.

Donations can be dropped off during the event, and our team will be available in the building lobby to accept contributions. Items collected during our Warm Hearts for Heroes Veterans Donation Drive are being prepared to support veterans in connection with the upcoming CT Department of Veterans Affairs Stand Down 2026 in September.
We are also looking for volunteers to help greet donors, organize donations, and support the collection effort. RSVP is required to volunteer.
